More than 1,000 managers celebrate with Heino at the Sixt ITB Party, ‘The Night the Winners meet’

Berlin, 5 March 2014 – Kick-off at the world’s biggest tourism trade fair, the ITB: Erich
and Regine Sixt yesterday invited guests to the 20th ever ITB party entitled ‘The Night the
Winners meet’, where they welcomed more than 1,000 managers and allies from across
the tourism and travel industry as well as 60 Sixt national managers. Sixt had enlisted a
special star guest for their evening entertainment: Heino. The German music legend
thrilled the audience with his cover versions of well-known rock and pop songs and a
selection of his greatest hits.

As always, the ITB party was held in aid of a good cause. Donations given by party guests
and takings from a giant tombola will be given in full to the Regina Sixt Children’s Aid
Foundation which runs global aid projects for children in poverty and need.

Until this weekend, Sixt will be presenting its full range of innovative products and services
to representatives of the travel and tourism industry at the world’s biggest industry fair.
One particular highlight is the new counter design which Sixt is presenting at its main
booth in Hall 9, Booth 121. At this and other booths, business partners and visitors will be
able to find out about the latest products, such as Sixt’s holiday rental cars.

A particularly good time to visit is ‘Sixt Orange Hour’, between 4 and 6 pm from
Wednesday to Friday. The Wednesday slot is dedicated to this year’s ITB partner country,
Mexico, and Sixt will be giving visitors an exciting taste of Barbados on Thursday and the
USA on Friday.

Regine Sixt: “Every year I look forward again to the great atmosphere and international
flair of the ITB. It really was something to be welcomed by the mariachis, traditional
guitar players from the ITB partner country, Mexico. We too will be offering our guests an
outstanding programme of activities including lots of special offers, international
specialities and top-level guests. Variety is crucial; I never like to get bored. Equally
important to me is working for children in need. I was delighted about Heino’s fantastic
performance yesterday evening, and the generous donations made by many of our
guests. They helped to conjure a smile on the faces of children in need. For that I would
like to thank them from the bottom of my heart.”
