MUNICH and BELLEVUE, June 12, 2014 - Sixt, one of the leading international mobility service providers, signed its first global partnership with the Expedia group, one of the world’s largest travel companies. The agreement provides Expedia, Hotwire and CarRentals.com customers direct access to Sixt's car rental fleet at more than 2,000 locations across more than 100 countries.
The multi-year, global agreement with Sixt establishes the Expedia group as a key partner in Sixt’s expansion plans. Specifically, Sixt plans to extend its presence in the United States – the world’s largest car rental market – by opening both owned and franchised locations across the country.
